​In 1925, Nate Walker is finally at peace. His wife is expcting thier first child, and he's recvong from the trauma of World War I. But when and old friend, Lady Kathy Bruce, reach out for help, Nates lie take an unexpected turn.

At a dinner hosted by the Royal Governor of Canada, a blackmailer threatened to expose a long buried secret from Kathy's past. The next morning the blackmailer is found dead and Kathy begs Nate to discreetly solve the murder while keeping her secret safe.

As Nate investigates, he uncovers a web of political intrigue and deception. Balancing his personal life with the escalating danger, he must solve the case before more lives are ruined.
